Harp’s Crossing gets ready for ‘Life Week’ Nov. 5-8Tue, 10/24/2006 - 4:12pm

Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church on Ga. Hwy. 92 South will be alive with activity when it hosts “Life Week” Sunday, Nov. 5 through Wednesday, Nov. 8. The event will feature guest evangelist Adrian Despres, chaplain for the University of South Carolina’s football team, and worship leaders The Akins, a musical group which has been in full-time music ministry for 18 years. Each day will spotlight a special theme and each day will conclude with a Life Celebration Service for the whole family at 7 p.m. Sunday is Children’s Night for 1st through 6th graders and will feature a Pizza blast at 5:30 p.m. Monday is Couples Night and will feature a couples (by invitation only) dinner at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday is Sports Theme Night and everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite sports jersey, shirt or cap. Wednesday is Student Night for 7th through 12th graders and will feature a fellowship meal for students, adults and children, catered by the Varsity, from 5:15-6:30 p.m. Tickets are required and are available now.
