In celebration of National Children’s Book Week, the Fayette County Public Library will feature several activities this Saturday at 2 p.m.

A “Blue’s Clues” costumed character will make an appearance. Families are encouraged to bring a camera and pose for a keepsake picture.

Nationally acclaimed author Charles Haddad, author of the “Calliope” series, will be on hand to talk to the children and sign books.

There will also be a craft session and lots of fun as the library celebrates children and books.
