Jensen to offer clinic at PTC Tennis Center

The Peachtree City Tennis Center will be hosting a clinic featuring Luke Jensen Monday Oct. 23 from 12-7p.m.

There will be five different sessions during the day where Luke’s high energy will be evident as he performs clinics with juniors and adults of all ages and levels.

The cost for the clinic will range from $5 for juniors to $20 for adults. Pizza will be served at the end of each clinic. To sing up call 770-486-9474 ext. 0 or stop by the Tennis Center pro shop.

Luke Jensen won the French Open Doubles title with brother Murphy in 1993. He obtained the nickname “Dual Hand Luke” for his ability to hit serves with either his right or left hand over 130 mph. He has been an ESPN analyst since 1994 working at all the major tennis tournaments on the tour, most recently at the French Open. He conducts over 70 seminars and clinics each year around the world and has his own tennis academy for children with special needs. He was a member of the US Davis Cup team in 1991 and 1992 and has wins over Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, John McEnroe, Bjorn Borg, Jimmy Connors and Jim Courier to name a few.

“We are very fortunate to have a celebrity like Luke Jensen come to Peachtree City Tennis Center to perform his clinic for juniors and adults in the tennis community, it is sure to be a great day,” said David Gary Tennis Center Manager. The Tennis Center, open to the public, offers a wide range of programs and tournaments for adults, juniors and seniors of all ages and levels. Also, available at the Tennis Center, is a fully stocked pro shop. The pro shop offers racket stringing, clothing, shoes and accessories.
