Sandra L. Johnson, 66, Peachtree City, formerly of Akron, Ohio, died Nov. 9, 2005. She was born Nov. 21, 1938 in Union Town, Pa. She was an English teacher at Booth Middle School, Peachtree City, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Peachtree City. Services were at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Steve Bingham officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Bill Johnson, Peachtree City; sons, Jeff Johnson, Powhatan, Va., Jim Johnston, Warner Robins, Ga., and Kerry Johnson, Dover, Ohio; nine grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Jones, Akron, Ohio, Patricia Chapline, Fayetteville, Elizabeth Estatico, Cleveland, Ga., and Jacqueline Callen, Tucson, Ariz. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Library Fund, or the Church Wellness Fund, in care of The First Baptist Church of Peachtree City, 208 Willowbend Road, Peachtree City, GA 30269. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
