Robert Earl Manning, 77, Riverdale, died Nov. 12, 2005. He was born Feb. 14, 1928. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roland Clifford Manning Sr., and sisters, Betty Jane Manning. Dorothy Nada Morgan, and Louise Gertrude Merchant. Services were at the Mowell Funeral Home chapel with interment at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Jonesboro. Survivors include his wife, Maybelle Manning, Riverdale; brothers, Donald Manning, Franklin, and Joe and Pat Manning, Newnan; sisters, Vivian Taylor, and Evelyn Adams, both of Fayetteville, and Claudia Sellers, Conyers; and a niece, Gail and Jack Wilson. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
