Beverly Lawson New, 84, Fayetteville, died Oct. 15, 2006. She was born June 16,1922 in Fulton County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas New. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Clay Edge officiating. Interment was at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Forest Park. Survivors include a son, Jimmy and Linda Summer, Tennga, Ga.; a daughter, Brenda Summer Botsford, Molena; grandchildren, Kevin Botsford, Jake Summer, Ben and Rebecca Summer, and Samantha Summer; great granddaughters, Briana Botsford, and Sophia Summer; a sister, Jeannette and Jim Benner, Fayetteville; and niece and nephew, Kim and Chris Benner. Memorial donations may be made to the Southwest Christian Care. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
