Floyd Whitlock, 77, Peachtree City, died Nov. 12, 2005. He was born Sept. 8, 1928 in Fayette County, son of Archie Wilson and Mattie Lou Davis Whitlock. Services were at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Govenstein, the Rev. Bobby Carpenter, and the Rev. Frank Treadwell officiating. interment was at the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mildred P. Whitlock, Peachtree City; children, Gene and Brenda Whitlock, Tyrone, Bobby and Becky French, Pike County, Eddie and Kim Whitlock, Sharpsburg, Vickie and Anthony Cavender, Fayetteville, and Kenny Whitlock and Todd Whitlock, both of Peachtree City. Memorial donations may be made to the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 680 Ebenezer Church Road, Fayetteville, GA 30215. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
