The Konevets Quartet will present a concert of Russian fold and sacred music at 7 p.m. Thursday Oct. 19 at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church, 225 Robinson Road.

A free will love offering will be received during the concert.

The Konevets Quartet began in July 1992 with the goal of sharing the rich tradition of Russian vocal music with its audiences. Their repertoire includes sacred hymns and chants, folk songs, and choral music by famous Russian composers.

They have toured extensively in Russia, England, Scotland, America, France, Italy, Ireland and throughout Scandinavia.

The Konevets Quartet has taken part in dozens of international festivals and has recorded seven CDs.

This is their second visit to Peachtree City United Methodist Church.
