Mr. and Mrs. William Douglas Walker of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jo Ana Walker, to Ashley Morris Schine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Murray Louis Schine of LaGrange.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Palmer D. Bridges of Panama City Beach, Fla. and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard W. Walker of Fayetteville. She is a 1999 graduate of Fayette County High School and a graduate of Auburn University where she received a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She currently is employed as the accounts payable manager with Walker Concrete.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Huvis Ashley Peacock of Alma and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Morris Schine of Savannah. He is a 1999 graduate of LaGrange Academy in LaGrange. He attended Auburn University and presently is employed with Walker Concrete in commercial sales and quality control.

The wedding will be April 28, 2007, at the home of the bride’s parents in Fayetteville.
