Bruce and Deidre Wilda of Colorado Springs, Colo., announce the marriage of their daughter, Aisling Nicole Wilda, to Army Specialist Brandon Joseph Cooper, son of Harry Jr. and Patricia Cooper of Peachtree City.

The wedding took place on Sept. 15, 2006, at the Municipal Courthouse in Colorado Springs. A dinner was held at Zio’s restaurant prior to the ceremony, with a reception at the home of the bride’s mother immediately following the ceremony.

The bride is the granddaughter of Jeanette and Bud Anderson of Colorado Springs and Irene Wilda, also of Colorado Springs. She is a 2001 graduate of Mitchell High School in Colorado Springs.

The groom is the grandson of Marie and Fred Grant of Peachtree City and Eleanor and Harry Cooper of Phillipsburg, N.J. He is a 1999 graduate of McIntosh High School. He currently is a member of the 2nd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division “Strike Force” and was recently deployed from Fort Carson, Colo. to Iraq. It is his second deployment to the area.

The bride’s sister, Drew Wilda, served as maid of honor and Sgt. Sean Williams, friend of the groom, served as best man.

The bride will remain in Colorado Springs during her husband’s deployment.
