A Peachtree City man was killed Friday evening in a four-vehicle auto crash at the intersection of Ga. Highway 74 and Senoia Road, police said.
James E. Whalen, 80, suffered serious injuries in the collision and was later pronounced dead at Fayette Community Hospital, police said.
The crash was reported just after 6:30 p.m., and police are performing a comprehensive reconstruction of the collision.
According to the preliminary accident report, Whalen was driving north on Hwy. 74 when he turned left, pulling in front of another vehicle that was traveling south on Hwy. 74, causing the collision.
