Virginia Strietelmeier, 77, Newnan, died Sept. 26, 2006. She was born July 15, 1929 in Fulton County. Services were at the Carmichael-Hemperley chapel with interment at Greenwood, Atlanta. Survivors include a son, Jeff and Gayle Johnson, Palm Coast, Fla.; a daughter, JoAnn Johnson, Forest Park; grandchildren, Shanna Schroeder, Jennifer Tingle, and Bryan Johnson; great-grandsons, Wesley, Lucas, and Ty; brothers, Paul and Betty Hardeman, Alabama, and Jack and Jean Hardeman, Franklin, Ga.; and sisters, Marguerite and Fred Moore, Gainesville, Ga., Joyce Schulman, Marietta, Deloris Benefield, Atlanta, and Connie Cole, Ocala, Fla. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
