The Manchester Who’s Who Registry of Executives and Professionals recently recognized Sylvia E. Callahan, Registered Nurse and Certified Palliative Hospice Nurse at Crossroads Hospice, for her professional accomplishments. Her induction into the Manchester Who’s Who Registry acknowledges her success and professional achievements. Manchester Who’s Who is committed to providing professional networking services and recognizing the achievements of executives and professionals worldwide.

Callahan has an impressive background in the healthcare industry. It is her experience and expertise in hospice care for patients with a wide range of diseases that enhances the professional services provided by the facility. She works diligently to maintain its outstanding reputation.
As a leader who has been in her field for 25 years, she attributes her personal and professional success to her love for the nursing profession and to her supportive husband. She chose the profession because she always wanted to be a nurse and considers the highlight of her career to be graduating at the age of 37, as the salutatorian of her class.

In addition to Callahan’s professional accomplishments, she also has an impressive academic background. She holds an associate of science in nursing from Columbia Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and is currently pursuing a bachelor of science in health education from the College Network. She is also licensed in the states of Florida, New York and Georgia.

Callahan supports the American Cancer Society, Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts of America and the American Red Cross and ran 26 Blood Mobiles in upstate New York. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and reading.
