On Saturday, October 28, Southern Regional Health System will host its first Mind, Body, and Soul Retreat for Women at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church in historic downtown Fayetteville. The mission of this retreat is to present a program that concentrates on the total woman: mind, body, and soul. The event will feature Robyn Spizman, author of “The Giftionary,” along with a day of pampering and wellness information to nurture your mind, body, and soul! By providing opportunities to learn more about topics such as cooking, time management, and money management, the mind will be engaged. Massages, health screenings, and exercise tips are some of the areas that will focus on the body. Women’s souls will be nurtured through information on stress management and yoga as well as activities involving makeup, hair, wardrobe, and starting a hobby. These are just a few examples of the topics that will be offered at this retreat. This is an event you don’t want to miss, so register today. Space is limited. Fayetteville First United Methodist Church is located at 175 E. Lanier Ave. in Fayetteville, Ga. The registration cost for the event, which will be held from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Oct. 28., is $38 through October 21. |
