”What You Don’t Know About Hospice Care” is the title of a program to be held at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity Friday, Oct. 6, sponsored by “The Basket Bunch” at the church. The program will be presented by Southwest Christian Hospice. A covered dish luncheon will be held at 12:30 p.m., followed by the program and discussion. Family members in the area who have had experience in being helped through hospice care, either in a facility and/or in the home, are invited to attend and share what they know. People who would like to learn more about hospice care are welcome. The differences between home health care and hospice care — and how physicians can fit into each — will be explained to some degree. Some hard-hitting facts regarding the dying processes may possibly be discussed. The Episcopal Church of the Nativity is on Antioch Road, Fayetteville. login to post comments |
