Pirates and treasure maps hit the stage at Newnan Theatre Company in this classic adventure featuring Jim Hawkins and Long John Silver. Adapted from the classic by Robert Louis Stevenson, the Children’s Popcorn Theatre presentation of “Treasure Island” is directed by Lamar Payne and features a cast of local talent.

The show will run in NTC’s Black Box Sept. 29 through Oct. 1. Friday and Saturday shows start at 8 p.m.; Sunday matinee performances begin at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for students and senior citizens; Newnan Theatre Company, located at 24 First Avenue in Newnan, is handicapped accessible.
