Master bedroom retreat: No kids allowedMon, 11/14/2005 - 9:28am
By: The Citizen
It may look like a modern family room, but looks can deceive. This stunning room (above) is actually a master bedroom retreat, and that means a no-kids zone. Well, maybe by invitation only, but buyers of higher-end homes are choosing to have a sitting room space adjacent to the master bedroom to get away from the hustle and bustle of the work world. Decorative maple columns support a graceful arch separating the two rooms. An octagonal ceiling bumps up into the attic trusses to create a focal point. There is also a corner gas fireplace with plasma TV above, both operable and viewable from the two sitting chairs or from the bed in the foreground. login to post comments |
