A Blessing of the Animals Service at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church will be held Sunday, Oct. 1, at 2 p.m. at the upper parking lot under the trees. The event will include music, readings and an individual blessing for each of the animals. Those who are unable to bring their animals are invited to attend also as prayers for their animals will be included during the service. For information, call 770-487-8717.
