Fall has arrived, and foodies are looking for something new and exciting to enjoy as the cool winds of the season start blowing into town. One of the favorite activities for many this season is tailgating. A great new option for folks who want to impress their friends is Buff’s at 116 Bethea Rd, Suite 112 in Fayetteville.

I know it seems like the area is over-run by wings shacks on every corner, but Buff’s offers somethng different, which is always a bonus for foodies.

The owners have come up with a huge variety of wings that will look great at that tailgate party. Where else can you find flavors of wings such as, garlic parmesan, spicy lime and apricot? The restaurant also features great sandwiches, such as steak hoagies, a spicy chicken finger sub with hot sauce and a delicious grilled BBQ chicken sandwich.

As a bonus for hot dog gourmands, the restaurant imports Sahlen’s hot dogs from Buffalo to bring a little taste of the northeast to the South.

If you’d rather watch your football inside, a great options is Big Daddy’s Oyster Bar in the Peachtree Crossings shopping center in Peachtree City. The restaurants recently celebrated its one year annivesrary, so you may not be familiar with it, but you definitely should. My favorite item on the menu is the grouper sandwich, but my oyster-loving friends tell me the oysters are the best in the area. The restaurant offers a wide variety, including raw, Oysters Rockefeller and Feta Greek, which features a topping of feta cheese, chopped parsley and garlic. Big Daddy’s also features other delicacies from the sea, including King Crab legs and fried shrimp.

For diners who prefer food from the land, the dining establishment also serves up steaks and sandwiches.

Additionally, Big Daddy’s also features a poker area for Texas Hold ‘Em fans and has several televisions for sports lovers.
For fall fun and food, you can’t beat it.
