The Rising Starr Middle School Symphonic Band is honored to have been invited to the Bands of America National Concert Band Festival in Indianapolis, Indiana, March 2007.

The band is the first of all middle school bands to be invited. This is a tremendous opportunity for the Rising Starr band students and a honor to our community. In an effort to raise funds to offset the expenses of this trip the band is excited to be hosting the second annual Rising Starr Middle School Band Fall Craft Festival.

The craft festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Rising Starr Middle School Cafeteria.

The festival is free and open to the public. Some of the crafts and products you will find at the fest will included homemade handbags, cosmetics, gourmet food products, home interior items, bath and spa products, stain glass, homemade afghans and designer aprons, children and poetry books, a variety of jewelry and much more! Lunch will be for sale by the Starr’s Mill Band Boosters.

Come out and do your holiday shopping early. Please support this great band!

Vendors are still welcome to sign up for this opportunity to sell your craft or product.
