The Newnan-Coweta Art Association (NCAA) has announced the details concerning this year's annual Holiday Extravaganza. The Extravaganza provides NCAA artists with the opportunity to exhibit their paintings and craft items in the homey, open-mall type atmosphere provided by Newnan's Historic Railroad Depot, located between East Broad and Washington Streets. It will be held on Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, November 13 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The public is invited to attend, and refreshments will be served.
NCAA is an active member of the Southern Crescent Alliance of Visual Artists (SCAVA) and for the past two years its members have contributed a very high percentage of the paintings chosen for the prestigious "juried" SCAVA Traveling Art Exhibit which tours through the entire state of Georgia. Several NCAA members have won prestigious awards for their art and have had their art exhibited in some of the nation's top art museums.
