F’ville to get more medical offices?Tue, 09/19/2006 - 4:19pm
By: Ben Nelms
The era of the establishment of a medical mecca in Fayetteville is far from over. Fayetteville Planning and Zoning Commission Sept. 12 heard plans for the construction of two additional medical office buildings on Ga. Highway 54 on property behind the new Southern Community Bank building located in Brandywine Office Park. The proposed two-story office buildings will each contain 31,998 square feet and be situated on a vacant 7.89-acre parcel. One of the buildings will house medical offices while the other will contain medical and general office space. The buildings are proposed to have a shared driveway and similar architectural construction as the current buildings fronting Hwy. 54. The proposed development will front Brandywine Boulevard. The buildings will share a retention pond to be located on the northeast corner of the property. Brandywine Office Park was recently rezoned from C-3 to O-I. The commission will consider the project at its voting meeting Sept. 26. login to post comments |
