The following arrests were reported by local law enforcement agencies for the past week. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty:

Peachtree City Police Department

Monday, Sept. 11

Kerry Gossett, 45, of Woodsdale Drive, Peachtree City for obstruction of a police officer, simple battery (family violence) and cruelty to children in the third degree.

Richard Scott Takacs, 25, of Sweetwater Oaks, Peachtree City for driving with a suspended license and driving with an expired tag.

Tuesday, Sept. 12

Tony Edwards Childree, 26, of Woodlawn Avenue, Hampton for DUI, possession of an open container of alcohol, failure to maintain lane and violation of driver’s license restrictions.

Wednesday, Sept. 13

Andres Hernandez, 34, of Roberts Drive, Riverdale for driving without a license.

Thursday, Sept. 14

Joshua David Meadows, 18, of Independence Lane, Peachtree City for possession of marijuana (less than one ounce) and failure to meet brake light requirements.

Gustavo Merino, 34, of Dixon Road, Newnan for driving without a license, driving without a tag and driving without insurance.

Friday, Sept. 15

George Elliott Amey, 26, of Ga. Highway 54 Sharpsburg for DUI.

Kenneth James Shultz, 26, of Park Leaf, Peachtree City for violation of probation.

Kristofor George Weber, 25, of Joeyenni Boulevard, Kenner, La. for driving with a revoked or suspended license and failure to comply with a traffic control device.
