Herman Conrad Brown, 74, Fayetteville, died Sept. 15, 2006. He was born Aug. 18, 1932 in Saline County, Mo. He served in the United States Army before going to work for the Department of Defense, retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church for the past 16 years. Services were at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Westmoreland and the Rev. Dr. Bob Martin officiating. Interment was in Arkansas. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Barbara Brown, Fayetteville; and a brother, Stan and Carole Brown, Broken Arrow, Okla. Memorial donations may be made to the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
