The Rock Baptist Church on Sandy Creek Road will offer Life Line health screenings Wednesday, Oct. 4 from 8:30 a.m. until 5:15 p.m.

The church also will offer flu and pneumonia shots from Maxim Health Care on Wednesday, Oct. 18, from 4-6:30 p.m.

Life Line will offer screening packages of $109 (three screenings) or $129 (four screenings). Individual screenings also are available.

Medicare does not cover the cost of these screening services and Life Line does not file insurance claims. Call 1-800-324-1851 for the required preregistration.

Maxim Health Care will be on hand at the church Oct. 18 to give flu ($25) and pneumonia ($40) shots to those age 9 or older. Both are Medicare approved.
