Rise and shine...it's 4:00 a.m. and time to light the 1,000+ pounds of charcoal beneath the 750 chickens being "qued" for the third annual Chicken-Que.
This rain or shine event is co-sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Peachtree City and the Methodist Men of Peachtree City United Methodist Church.

This Saturday, September 16, come by car or golf cart between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to the church's Youth Center on the corner of Peachtree Parkway and Windgate Road. For only $6.75 the take out only plate consists of 1/2 finger-lickin' chicken, secret ingredient baked beans and fresh cole slaw. Drinks will also be available.

All proceeds go to area scouting programs and other Kiwanis community service projects. A Scout Lodge is currently under construction on the church's Robinson Road campus and will be available for all area scouting uses.

Chicken-Que tickets are available from any Kiwanis or Methodist Men member.  Be quick, only 1,500 tickets will be sold. For additional information, contact Kevin Snyder at 770-486-8445.
