Two key leadership positions were announced at the annual Georgia District Kiwanis Convention held recently in Marietta, Ga. 

Mick Maguire was selected as the Governor-elect of the state organization which includes approximately 8,400 members in 174 clubs. 

Greg Hall was selected as Lt. Governor for Division 23 which consists of nine Kiwanis Clubs in Fayette and Coweta counties. 

Both are members and past presidents of the 95-member Kiwanis Club of Peachtree City. It was also announced that the club had won first place in state competition for the following categories: Club Brochure, Club Bulletin, Activities Scrapbook, Membership Directory, Community Service Flyer (The Churches of PTC) and Special Event Coverage (Pancake Saturday). The club meets each Monday at 7 a.m. in the Wyndham Peachtree Hotel and Conference Center, adjacent to Lake Peachtree.
