Fayette WCR awarded for excellence

The Fayette Chapter of Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) is among Gold Level winners of the organizations prestigious 2005 Chapter Excellence Awards program.

The award recognizes WCR chapters for overall excellence in chapter operations and member value. The Fayette WCR is among an elite group of winners at the chapter size level. Excellence is determined by membership recruiting and retention, communication of the WCR brand, programs, leadership development, and chapter effectiveness.

Women’s Council of Realtors is an organization of real estate professionals which strives to create business opportunities, develop skills for the future, and encourage members’ potential for success.

Recent programs included such diverse topics as local highway construction, an economic and housing forecast for Atlanta’s Southern Crescent, and financial management.

“It takes a great team to meet this level of excellence,” said 2005 Fayette WCR President Sherry Stone Blackmon. “The Fayette WCR chapter has experienced tremendous growth as a professional organization. Members benefit from great programs to expand their knowledge and extensive networking opportunities to help build their businesses.”

Breakfast meetings of the Fayette WCR chapter are hosted at 8:30 a.m. on the second Thursday of each month at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center. Realtors and professionals in affiliated fields are invited to attend. For more information call Fayette WCR President Mary Watts at 770-487-8300.
