HBA Casino Night

Members of the Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia and their guests gathered at the Depot in Tyrone recently for a western-style Saloon and Casino Night of fantasy gambling complete with craps table, slot machines, poker and blackjack. Net proceeds from the event will help fund scholarships for students enrolled in Griffin Technical College’s Construction Management Diploma program, a curriculum that qualifies graduates for a variety of careers in the building industry. Pictured (from left) are HBA of Midwest Georgia Treasurer John Cox, blackjack dealer Kent Gravelle of Entertainment Productions, the producer of the event, and Griffin Technical College President Dr. Robert Arnold. The 700-member Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia serves builders in Fayette, Coweta, Spalding, Meriwether, Heard, Pike, Upson, Lamar, Butts and Jasper Counties. More information about the group can be obtained by calling Sandy Boda at the association office,770-716-7109. Photo/Special.
