Bill and Sandy Lowrey of Shreveport, La. announce the marriage of their daughter, Amy Loretta Lowrey, to Jason Brian Sugg, son of John and Elaine Sugg of Tyrone. The wedding took place April 15, 2006, at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin, Texas. The Rev. Sid Hall and Shari Holland officiated. Buffet dinner and dancing followed the ceremony.

The bride is the granddaughter of Sophvine Lowrey and the late John William Lowrey and Sarah Heard and the late Berton Heard. She is a graduate of Yale University.

The groom is the grandson of the late John Sugg, Sr. and the late Mattie Gardner and the late Marion and Martha Hemperley. He is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and now resides in Austin, Texas.
