Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation awarded a $50,000 grant to Whitewater High School. The funds will be used for several school improvement projects, including locker room construction and beautification of school grounds.

Whitewater is one of 26 schools awarded grant.

The funds will help the school to increase storage space for students and to purchase landscaping equipment for landscaping needs round the campus. The project is scheduled to be completed this fall.

Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation has helped communities nationwide through employee volunteerism and financial contributions since 1957.
