Coweta County sheriff’s investigators are continuing their search for the vehicle and one or more suspects sought in the Sept. 30 murder of Senoia business owner Ken Crook.

Gov. Sonny Perdue has offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for Crook’s death. Sheriff’s Office investigator Sgt. John Lewis said authorities are talking with a lot of people and are continuing to pursue leads. Lewis said investigators have received numerous tips relating to the suspect vehicle, described as a white Ford van with a model year between 1980 and 1991. The high-roof conversion van has a large entry door behind the passenger’s side door and large windows toward the rear of the vehicle. Lewis said an unspecified reward is being offered for information leading to the recovery of that specific vehicle.

Relatives described Crook as kindhearted, a good man who was easy going, a man who loved his neighbor as himself.

Anyone with information relating to the case is asked to contact Capt. Tony Grant or Sgt. John Lewis at 770-253-1502 ext. 201.

The owner of Crook’s Tire Center, the well-known businessman was found in his home Sept. 30, the victim of a fatal gunshot wound. Crook was 40 years old.
