Ryan Barr, a Starrs Mill gradaute, got some playing time for Bloomsburg University, in their 12-0 win over Kutztown University. Larry Beard, a Sandy Creek graduate, had some playing time for Georgia Southern in their 45-7 win over Western Carolina. James Bouie, a Fayette County graduate, had some playing time for Georgia Southern in their 45-7 win over Western Carolina. Brian Brown, a Sandy Creek graduate, had one tackle and one assist for the University of Delaware in their 10-6 loss to Hofstra. Darrell Burston, a Starrs Mill graduate, had some playing time for Florida State in their 4124 win over Wake Forest. Charles Castleberry, a McIntosh graduate, got some playing time in the University of Minnesota, Crookstons 73-13 loss to Concordia University. John Deraney, a Fayette County graduate, kicked two extra points and a 36 yard field goal in NC States 17-14 win over Georgia Tech last Thursday. Deranye also had seven punts for a total of 282 yards. Jason Earwood, a Starrs Mill graduate, had three solo tackles for Georgia Southern in their 45-7 win over Western Carolina. Johnny Edwards, a Starrs Mill graduate, had some playing time in Wake Forests 41-24 loss to Florida State. Joshua Haney, a Sandy Creek graduate, saw some playing time for The Citadel in their 27-7 loss to Ole Miss. Andrew Gardner, a Sandy Creek graduate, started at left tackle for Georgia Tech in their 17-14 loss to NC State. Michael Gates, a Sandy Creek graduate, got some playing time in Mississippi States 35-9 loss to the University of Florida. Kedric Golston, a Sandy Creek graduate, had two assists for the University of Georgia in their 27-14 win over Tennessee. Chris James, a Starrs Mill graduate, kicked three field goals, including the game winner in overtime, and four extra points in Western Kentuckys 37-34 win over Illinois State. Calvin Johnson, a Sandy Creek graduate, had 10 catches for 130 yards and a touchdown for Georgia Tech in their 17-14 loss to NC State. Alex Mortensen, a Landmark Christian School graduate, got some playing time for the University of Arkansas in their 44-15 win over Louisiana-Monroe.
