MYTMITE: Vote No on Amendment 2Vote NO on amendment 2 on the November 4th ballot. The Georgia Supreme Court has stated that our constitution meant for school tax money to be used for schools and nothing more. This amendment would allow developers to tap into this money for their own use. Our schools should not be short changed in order for developers to line their pockets. We need to be doing everything possible to enhance our schools. Why would our legislators even put such an amendment on the ballot? To pay back their big contributors? After all, school children can't vote. But, their parents, grandparents, etc can--so vote against this amendment and let's leave our school tax money where it belongs--for the schools. MYTMITE: Tattoo Parlor Owner ArrestedWhen I voiced my opinion about the tattoo parlor in The Citizen I was drawn and quartered on this site. So, who has the last laugh now? Believe me, I would rather have been wrong. |
