As you may know, Dan Berschinski, Eagle Scout from Peachtree City Troop 175, McIntosh High School graduate of 2002, and West Point grad of 2007 was very severely wounded in Afghanistan in August. Quoting from a report:

going to be hurt by the new math curriculum that Kathy Cox has introduced. Why did she push a program that has failed in many other states? Did she have a financial gain by implmenting this new program? Average and lower students are failing, and gifted students are failing in the advanced levels.
