Religion Briefs Children's New year's party planned at Inman UMC A New Year's Millenium party for children up to fifth grade at Inman United Methodist Church will be held Friday, Dec. 31 beginning at 11:15 a.m. Party favors and sparkling cider will be available and a countdown at noon will be featured. Also, on Sunday, Dec. 26, there will be no Sunday School, and only one worship service at 10:30 a.m. Braelinn Baptist sets Christmas Eve services Braelinn Baptist Church is offering three opportunities for families to celebrate "the reason for the season" this Christmas Eve. Christ Our Hope schedules Christmas Eve services A Christmas eve service of rejoicing will be held at Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 24. Providence UMC to host Christian rock concert Providence United Methodist Church will host a Christian Rock Concert on Saturday, Jan. 29, featuring the bands Fish Force and Sundry. The store is in Hudson Plaza on U.S. Hwy. 29 in Fairburn. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturdays. Southwest Christian Hospice, located on Lester Rd. in Union City, is a nonprofit ministry providing quality hospice health care at no cost to patients or their families. Senior citizen singers needed at F'ville 1st Baptist Fayetteville First Baptist Church is seeking members for its Senior Adult Choir, the Senior Singers. The ministry is open to all those who are 50 years of age or older. No musical expertise or experience is required. Rehearsals are Mondays at 9:45 a.m. Frank Charton is the director.
