Jeremy Martin, a member of the Houghton College men's basketball team, was named Northeast Atlantic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending Dec. 2.

Martin, a 6'5” junior forward from Fayetteville, scored 20 points and pulled down a team high eight rebounds in a 70-53 loss at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. He hit two of three three-pointers and was a perfect four of four from the free-throw line.

Martin followed that performance with a career high 28 points and nine rebounds in a 61-59 loss to Alfred University.

Martin is averaging 11 points and six rebounds per game.
