Just a mere two years ago our students were all eagerly anticipating the opening of our new facility while trekking an extra distance to attend classes.

In this short time, Starr's Mill High School has shown its commitment to excellence in education by attaining a ranking of 11 out of 319 high schools by the Georgia Public Policy Foundation.

We would like to publicly extend congratulations to our faculty and staff for such an outstanding performance in such a short amount of time. This has taken a lot of effort on their parts.

We are proud and feel privileged that our children (their students) are in a learning environment where high expectations are challenged and met.

Our congratulations also goes out to the other Fayette County schools highly ranked by this report.
