Men's group forms at Christ the King Church

The newly organized Men of Christ the King recently began monthly breakfast fellowship meetings at Shadow's Restaurant in Peachtree City.

“These Saturday morning meetings are designed to bring together men from the South metro Atlanta area,” Father David Epps, rector of Christ the King said. “We usually meet at 8:15 a.m. and are gone by 9:30. The men can meet new friends, share breakfast, enjoy fellowship and still have a full day off.”

Looking to the immediate future, the men are considering a spiritual retreat at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers and the possibility of a deep-sea fishing trip. A men's council will soon be appointed to serve as a leadership core, Epps said.
