Scott Hagan welcomed as youth director at FUMC

Scott Hagan, a native of Statesboro and a 1997 graduate of `Georgia Tech, has assumed duties as director of youth ministries at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. He received his Master's degree in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University in June and recently managed the U.S.A. Basketball Olympic Team trials in Puerto Rico. Hagan will begin his studies at Candler School of Theology in late August.

“Scott brings much to the your program at Fayetteville First and is enthusiastic to lead and minister to the youth in the church and in the community,” Senior Pastor Dr. Sam Matthews says. “Already he has made an impact on our youth program and we look forward to his continued good work here.”

All youth in grades 6-12 are invited to meet Hagan and join the youth group each Sunday at 6 p.m.
