Small group studies begin Sept. 15 at
Fayetteville First UMC

Six- and eight-week small group studies on varying topics will begin Wednesday, Sept. 15 in the Family Life Center classrooms at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. The classes are open to the community and there is no charge.

Among the course topics are book studies on “Managing Your Money,' the Taste of the New Wine,' the Will of God.' and “Who is Jesus?”

Short term topics include classes on aging parents, breast cancer support, building a marriage, coping, couples, divorce recovery, empty nesters, faithfulness, gifts and callings, grief, love, Methodism, parents of pres-schoolers or of adolescents, patience, prayer, self control, and survivors of suicide.

Short term programs promoting good health include “Body and Soul,” “Stressed Out, “ and a soft aerobics class.

For those interested in studying the Bible, the church offers a short term Bible study on one of the Gospels, and the longer Disciple I, II and III Bible studies.
