Kosovo refugees to arrive in Peachtree City
Two refugee families fleeing their war-ravaged homes in Kosovo will soon be starting their lives anew in Peachtree City, sponsored by Braelinn Baptist Church.

Nine churches will combine in 'unity' service this Sunday at River's Edge

Nine churches will gather as one this weekend for a “Unity Celebration of Christ. The special service is scheduled for Sunday evening, July 25, at 6 p.m. at River's Edge Community Church, 1091 Jeff Davis Dr., South in Fayetteville.

Revival...God given or human driven?

Charles Finney, American revivalist who lived 1792-1875, went to great lengths to discount the idea of God's sovereignty as being the sole source of revivals. He contended that Christian believers had a great deal to do with God blowing the winds of revival over a church and/or over an entire community.

F'ville UMC will offer swing dance classes

Swing dance classes will be offered by Fayetteville First United Methodist Church each Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. from July 27-Aug. 31. Classes are held in the gym and are $30 per person. Pairs are best but singles are always welcome.
