Real Estate company gets patriotic

In conjunction with the upcoming July Fourth holiday, Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty has announced its intention to help raise American patriotism in the area it serves, the south metro region of Atlanta.

A real estate company with historic roots in the Southern Crescent, the firm plans an extended emphasis this year on the Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation “Celebrate America” promotion, said Walter Krauth, who is coordinating “Celebrate America” for Bullard.

“Instead of promoting American patriotism only around the Independence Day holiday, our offices situated throughout the metro south area will be taking part in `Celebrate America' activities over the next several months,” he said. “Coldwell Banker is grounded in rich American history,” said Krauth.

“Since 1906, the organization has bought and sold homes that dot the American landscape, and I can't think of a better way to share our national pride and patriotism than to band together as a community to celebrate the red, white and blue.”

One representative from CB Bullard's Newnan/Coweta County office, Bernie Annis of Sharpsburg, has already begun his participation in the annual “Celebrate America” event. Annis, who is an associate broker, has already ordered 500 United States flags and he is sending out a newsletter to a large number of homeowners in the Thomas Crossroads area of Coweta County.

In the newsletter, he urges the homeowners to join in celebrating the Fourth of July national holiday and he alerts them that he will be dropping by to deliver a flag to each home. Annis, a veteran of the U. S. Navy who was attached to the USS Hornet during the Korean War, has been in real estate since 1970. He has consistently been a top performer since joining CB Bullard's Newnan/Coweta location and was the office's agent of the month for this May and last November.

Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty, founded in 1956, is headquartered in Jonesboro and has other offices in Riverdale, Jackson, McDonough, the Fayetteville/Peachtree City area and Newnan. The company, which early last year announced a franchise agreement with Coldwell Banker after operating for more than 40 years as Bullard Realty Company, currently has approximately 234 sales associates. Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation, a subsidiary of Cendant Corporation, franchises more than 2,900 independently owned and operated real estate offices with more than 69,000 sales associates throughout North America.
