The 1936 Fayette County High School class had a reunion recently.

There were 38 girls in the original class and nine boys. Ten of them got together to recall the good old days.

Twelve members are now deceased.

The class colors were pink and blue. The girls wore long, white dresses and the boys wore dark pants with a white jacket.

The Rev. M. C. Allen, pastor of Fayetteville Methodist Church, gave the invocation and the Rev. C. M. Brewer, pastor of Fayetteville Baptist Church gave the benediction.

The valedictory was given by Henrietta Redwine Dennis, with two salutatories being given, by Selwyn Banks Walker and Ruth Steinheimer.

Music was provided by class member Ambrose Burch and diplomas were handed out by Board of Education member Charles Thornton.
