The agenda for Monday's scheduled Peachtree City Planning Commission meeting includes two items concerning the Line Creek Parkway project that were tabled at the last meeting.

Schematic site plans for Line Creek Parkway commercial out parcels and the Line Creek Parkway borrow area are among the topics of discussion expected Monday night, with an expected update on parkway construction and discussion of buffering, scheduling and other issues.

Another item scheduled for the May 24 meeting is the conceptual site plan for a parking expansion at Cooper Lighting, at Ga. Highway 74 and Cooper Circle.

In his usual monthly report at the May 10 meeting, city planner David Rast informed the Planning Commission of the following staff activities:

F Review comments have been forwarded and revised plans are expected for the Sherwin Williams (Ga. Highway 74 North), Flat Creek Crossing (Astoria Lane extension), Royal Highlands (Avalon Park) and Line Creek Parkway out parcels (Ga. Highway 54 West) developments.

F The final site plan for the McIntosh practice field (Walt Banks Road) is under review.

F Final site plans for the NAPA Auto Parts (Petrol Point), Tiernan & Patrylo expansion (Ga. Highway 74 South) and Simms office/warehouse (Fulton Court) developments have received staff approval.

F Staff is continuing to coordinate with the landscape contractor at the Southern Motor Carriers (Westpark Drive and Commerce Court) and FAA TRACON Facility (Ga. Highway 74 South) developments.

F Construction drawings for phase two of the South 74 Sports Complex have been approved by staff, as has the preliminary plat for the Smokerise Estates subdivision, phase six (Prestige Point).

F Staff has approved the final plat for phase two of the Blueberry Hill subdivision, which consists of ten lots next to the Pinegate subdivision. Additional landscaping and fencing between the two developments is complete and meets the satisfaction of the Pinegate residents, Rast reported.

F A representative from Pathway Communities has been meeting with a city staff member to review the lighting plan for the Market Place retail center, which includes lighting within the center as well as the Chili's and On the Border restaurants.

F Lighting at the NationsBank ATM in the Peachtree Crossing shopping center parking lot is being discussed with Lincoln Property Management. Several residents have complained since the security lights were activated, Rast said.
