Cultures to be
shared Spring Hill Elementary
School will host its first Multicultural
Celebration the week of May 17. Through an
assortment of activities, students, parents,
faculty and staff will share their culture and
talents.
The
Monday kickoff will feature a concert by
Sunsations, the student chorus. Daily
attractions will include ballet and karate
demonstrations, story telling by parent
volunteers and school-wide displays of
international artifacts.
Samples
of exotic cuisine will served midweek. The
celebration culminates in a parade of nations
Friday, when faculty and staff will dress in
ethnic attire representing their cultural
backgrounds. Cookbooks containing multicultural
recipes will be on sale for $5.
