Tickets are still available for the Summer Concert Series at the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater in Peachtree City. The series includes K.C. and the Sunshine Band, April 16-17; Gordon Lightfoot, May 7-8; Judy Collins, May 21-22; Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad, June 11-12; and Little Anthony and the Imperials, June 25-26. Hallmark Gold Crown Stores, including both Pam's Hallmark shops, the Fayette Pavilion location, and Jan's Hallmark in Newnan, are participating in Cards for the Cure to raise awareness and dollars to help find a cure for breast cancer. Hallmark cards purchased between April 18-May 2 help raise funds, plus purchasers of a Hallmark card will receive a free specially designed card.

Ben Ryerson, a junior interdisciplinary major and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ryerson of Peachtree City, will play the parts of Polixenes and Cleomenes in the Berry College Theatre Company production of William Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale." Performances are set for 8 p.m. April 8-11 and 15-18 on the campus near Rome. For ticket information, 706-236-2263.
