* If you've been wanting to get the ear of your county commissioners, your chance is coming up.

Members of the County Commission will have a series of "Meet the Commissioners" receptions in the commission meeting room at the County Administrative Complex. The first will be this coming Tuesday, March 30 at 7:30 p.m.

"There will be no agenda, no speeches, no presentations," said Karen Morley, deputy clerk.

Commissioners will station themselves in different areas of the room and visitors will be able to discuss whatever is on their minds. Light refreshments will be served.

In addition to Tuesday's gathering, receptions are planned:

, Wednesday, April 14 at 1:30 p.m.

, Tuesday, May 11 at 10 a.m.

For information phone 770-460-5730. * Fayetteville City Council Wednesday will discuss the Fayette Church of Christ's rezoning request to allow its new building at the corner of Redwine and Price roads.

The church congregation recently sold its building at Ga. Highway 85 and Pine Trail Road for a planned shopping center.

Council will discuss the rezoning request Wednesday and have first reading of the new zoning at its regular meeting Monday, April 5. Second reading and a vote are scheduled for the council's April 19 meeting.
