The Starr's Mill track team was scheduled to run at the Patriot relays at Sandy Creek High School, but because some of the runners would be taking the SAT, they ran at LaGrange instead. There were 13 teams and final results were not available directly after the meet. The Panthers broke a lot of personal and school records though.

Mike Dillard set the school record in the high jump with a jump of 5'10. he also tied the record in the hurdles with a time of 41.7. Matt Fuhrmann regained the school record for the 110 high hurdles from Mike Dillard with a time of 16.9. Reuben Houston set the school record in the long jump with a jump of 19'5 1/2''. It was also the second meet in a row that Reuben had a triple jump of 45'4. He has only been beaten once this season, at the Georgia High School Indoor Invitational at the Georgia Dome.

Aaron Wilson broke the school record in the shotput, throwing it a distance of 41'7. Ray Malcolm set a school record in the discus, throwing it a distance of 94'8. The other group to set a record was the 4x400 meter relay team of Michael Thompson, Les Page, Chris Bailey and LaDon Cooper finishing in a time of 3:34. "There were lots of great performances at the meet on Saturday," said Coach Stephen Pruitt. "The kids continue to work hard and make improvements." Starr's Mill travels back to LaGrange on Wednesday to face LaGrange and Troup County.
