Robert Conley was named to the NCAA Division II
All-America Third team last week. He is the first basketball
player in school history to receive that award. Conley, a 6'6, 205
pound forward, set 14 school records over the course of his career
at Clayton State. He ranked third in the nation in scoring,
averaging 24.6 points a game. He also led the Peach Belt Athletic
Conference in rebounds (6.7 rpg), field goal percentage (.555), and
steals (2.7 spg). Robert scored 664 points this season, shattering
the previous record by over 100 points. He was named to the
All-Conference team and the All-Region team this season as well.
